USTAAI does not grant membership to individuals. We encourage all alumni to seek membership from their College/Faculty Alumni Associations or from any recognized Advocacy/Interest-Based or Regional/Chapter-Based Alumni Associations. However, USTAAI is a volunteer-based alumni association and is driven by dedicated individuals — alumni, former students, and supporters — who commit their time, expertise, and passion to fostering lifelong relationships between graduates and our alma mater. These committed volunteers are crucial for institutional advancement, often acting as mentors, event planners, and ambassadors who help bridge the gap between the institution and the broader community. If interested to become a volunteer, please contact our Secretariat at (02) 8786-1611 loc 8589 or email us at ustalumniassociationinc@gmail.com
The purpose of recognizing an association is to ensure the legitimacy, credibility and accountability of Member Alumni Associations. They are expected to abide by the policies and guidelines set by the USTAAI and UST OAR (for requests, events and other concerns involving the University). Applicant-organization will need to send a Letter of Intent (LOI) to USTAAI, addressed to the President. For the complete application procedure, please visit USTAAI Operations Manual
The UST OAR shall recognize the Member Alumni Associations once they have complied with the submission of the requirements, including a letter of endorsement from USTAAI.
The Thomasian Alumni Community Foundation, Inc. (TACFI) is a foundation launched on March 25, 2022. It works closely with USTAAI and UST OAR and focuses on mobilizing disaster relief and rehabilitation, supporting community projects, and organizing events like the Thomasian Alumni Golf Cup to fund scholarship initiatives for the University of Santo Tomas community.
USTAAI, hand-in-hand with the Thomasian Alumni Community Foundation Inc (TACFI), commits itself to grant assistance to financially challenged students of the UST main campus who are at risk of not completing their studies due to the occurrence of events that result in unexpected financial difficulty.
